1. What we collect

If you are a candidate: your name and contact details, your CV and employment history, your skills and qualifications, the roles and salary you are looking for, and our notes from conversations, interviews and feedback.

If you are a client: your name, job title, company and work contact details, and what you tell us about the roles you are hiring for.

If you use this website: anything you send us through a form, such as your name, email address and message, or your email address for job alerts. Your browser also sends us technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, so the site loads and stays secure.

If you refer someone: your details and theirs. Please only refer people you know, and who would expect to hear from us.

2. Why we use it

To recruit. We use candidate and client details to understand what each side needs, put candidates forward for roles and keep in touch about the outcome. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running a recruitment business, and taking steps at your request before an agreement is made.

To answer you. We use what you send through the website to reply to your enquiry. Our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

To send job alerts and updates. We only do this if you ask us to. Our basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

To run our referral scheme and meet our legal duties. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running the scheme, and our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share a candidate’s details with a client when we put that candidate forward for a role. We also use providers who help us run the business, such as our applicant tracking system, website hosting, email and spam protection. They only use your data to provide those services to us. We may share data where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

4. Transfers outside the UK

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and no longer. If you want your details removed sooner, tell us.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and object to us using it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put it right first.
