I’m looking to speak with Senior Technical Project Managers for a brand new role with one of my thriving clients. The business is going through an outstanding period of growth and they’re looking for someone with a background in web application and API development to join them.
You’ll be managing a portfolio of important application delivery projects across their full lifecycle, delivering to internal business users and customers across the group. As a senior member of the technology team, you’ll be responsible for contributing to the improvement of development processes, and the overall technology architecture, aside from the delivery of the portfolio of projects.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have to have a passion for technology and delivery and be able to communicate easily with both business users of systems as well as colleagues.
Your day-to-day:
· Full lifecycle project management of the delivery of internal/customer facing business web applications and APIs
· Managing and overseeing external partner design/build development activities
· Manging of migration activities where new applications are upgrades for existing ones
· Communicating closely with business users, sponsors and potentially key customer staff
· Coordinating the build/execution of Azure DevOps pipelines to deploy applications across test and production environments
· Contributing to the improvement of development processes/tools
· Identifying opportunities to use innovative tech to deliver new business value
Your skills & experience:
· Project management skills on small-medium IT development projects delivering business change
· Project management and ideally some software development/test experience in delivering customer web applications and APIs following agile methods
· Understanding cloud-based architectures (MS Azure)
· Technology architecture/design understanding
· Business cases to justify technology projects
· Substantial experience in a role either as a PM, developer, or BA involved in the development and maintenance of business applications
